Tzortzis Nomikos | University of Athens

Professor(Associate) at Harokopio University of Athens

I am currenty studying two daily stressful condition in humans the postprandial state and exercise. I am interested in the mechanisms underlying postprandial dysmetabolism with a special interest on postprandial activation of platelets. I am also working on the model of exercise-induced musce damage, after eccentric exercise which, in my opinion is a very good model of inflammation and oxidative stress in humans. I use it for the estimation of the anti-infammatory proprties of nutrition.
