Prof. Pasquale Strazzullo, MD, FAHA, is Professor of Internal Medicine and ESH Hypertension Specialist. He has been Director of the Department of Clinica Medica and of the Excellence Center for Hypertension at Federico II University of Naples Medical School.
Past-President of the Italian Society of Human Nutrition (SINU), he is presently coordinator of the Italian Dietary Reference Values (LARN) V Revision and Italian Delegate in the WHO European Salt Action Network.
Prof. Strazzullo broad areas of interest are the role of nutrition and the dietary approach to cardiovascular prevention, and the pathophysiology and clinical aspects of the disorders of mineral metabolism.
He has authored over 350 publications most of which in peer-review international journals.
