Amanda Goldman, MS, RD, LD, FAND Gordon Food Service

Amanda Goldman always strives to surpass expectations and is passionate about her work, about food & nutrition, and about building healthier communities. She obtained her B.S. in Dietetics from Miami University and her M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Kentucky. Amanda is currently the Healthcare Industry Sales Strategist for Gordon Food Service, the largest privately-held broadline foodservice distributor in North America. In this role, she utilizes her background to serve as a segment customer operational & financial subject matter expert for the national healthcare sales team. Prior to this position, Amanda was the System Director for the Catholic Health Initiatives Food & Nutrition Services national program within a large hospital system. Concurrently, she worked as the Director of Diabetes & Nutrition Care for CHI Saint Joseph Health in Kentucky.
Amanda believes that volunteerism is essential, and she is a respected colleague who participates on numerous committees within community, state & national groups. She is a Past Chair of the Management in Food & Nutrition Systems dietetic practice group and a Past-President of the Kentucky Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is still active on those boards, and is also on the God’s Pantry Food Bank Board of Directors, a member of the Community Advisory Council for the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky, as well as a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the Association for Healthcare Foodservice. Amanda knows that as a Registered Dietitian, she has a responsibility to use her skill-set to collaborate with others to advocate for heath, food security & wellness on a global scale. Lastly, she is thrilled to be a return speaker at a prestigious MDR event.
